Licensing vs Bulk Sales

How They Differ, and Why Both Matter

Bulk sales involve selling your tips product in physical quantity to an organizational buyer who distributes it. Licensing involves granting permission to use, reproduce, or distribute your intellectual property, often in digital or rights-based formats, through a formal agreement.

Bulk sales are covered in Course 3. This course covers licensing. The two models are complementary, and many experienced practitioners use both, often with the same organizational relationships.
